My Dad was in town this past week so Zachary and I took him around to all our favorite places. We went to Hyde Park Village to walk around over the weekend and pop into some shops (I got this romper at Salt Pines – I’m wearing it HERE). We also grabbed lunch at bartaco (MY FAVE) and tried this month’s secret taco, the crispy soft-shell crab taco! Dad gave bartaco his stamp of approval.

Here are a few iPhone pictures from his visit. The others that didn’t make the blog included him applying many layers of sunscreen, installing my new closet, and our five trips to IKEA. We had such a great visit and I am SO glad that Jax and Henry got to meet their grandpa for the first time! I’m also so appreciative that my Dad is super handy, he helped us out with so many projects around our new house! Round of applause for all the Dad’s out there, especially mine. Love you!

It’s back to work for me this week, but it was so nice to take a few days off from EVERYTHING to spend time with Dad! It’s so important to remember to recharge every so often. So enjoy the rest of your week and smile because there’s a long weekend fast approaching!
