Since it has been raining all week I haven’t had a chance to shoot any new outfits so I’m taking some photos out of the archives here that I haven’t used before. This outfit is my weekend uniform! It has recently been a topic of conversation with friends, since moving to Tampa, that the style here is so drastically different than in New England. In Tampa, at least where I live, the popular style is best described as west coast meets boho so I stand out like a J. Crew ad when I go out in all pastels! While I am definitely open to letting the local scene influence my style, because I am all about hats and sandals now, I will definitely stay true to my personal style.  Anyways, these shorts are my absolute favorite! I got from the Vineyard Vines Whale House Sale last year (also have them in coral) I wear these shorts all the time because they are the perfect tailored fit so they look crisp and go with everything! This J. Crew gingham button up shirt is so versatile and I want to get it in as many more colors as possible! I love it because I can wear it to work under a blazer or with shorts for the weekend.

I don’t have much planned for the weekend, but I am definitely going to make it a point to get Jax to the dog beach because that’s our favorite place to go! Are you doing anything fun this weekend? I’d love to hear your suggestions for things to do in Tampa Bay!
