If you have been following me on Instagram @thesaramagnolia then you have seen an overload of photos from the Cusp Event this past weekend at Neiman Marcus in International Plaza. The goal of the event was to showcase upcoming fall fashion trends, shop, and enjoy all of the goodies! I was fortunate enough to be one of the guest hostesses for this event and had my blogger girl gang show up to support me (which made me feel like Taylor Swift because they’re all such amazing girl bosses).
Moment of honesty here, I am still fairly new to the blogging scene so I will be the first to admit that I was nervous going into the event, but I truly had such a fun time! So if you get invited to an event that is such a great opportunity to further your career, then please go. I can do it, so you can too! While at the Cusp Event I loved watching the fall fashion trends being strut down the runway, my favorite was one of the “winter white” looks which was very reminiscent of Chanel. The stylists on the panel who designed the runway looks put together some seriously gorgeous looks, pairing pieces that I would never think to wear together! I even had a bracelet custom made for me at the event, and the best part about is that it is scented! I linked the scent below if you’re curious, I walked around all afternoon waving it around because it smells so delicious especially if you like floral scents.
As for what I wore, it was literally thrown together the night before in a panic because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to wear. The theme for the event was Folklorica which is like a boho chic. I wanted to stay true to my personal style while still dressing in accordance with the theme, but it was so hard at first to find an outfit that accommodated both. I tried things on at the store that I felt ridiculous in because they were so far out of my comfort zone. When I got home I started looking through clothes I already owned (wow, there’s an idea) and ended up wearing a top and skirt from my own closet, so needless to say I was very comfortable!
If you want to check out my blogger girl gang (jk, I’m not Taylor Swift) I’ve linked all of their blogs below, I think you’ll love them as much as I do!

Prior to the Cusp Event I went to the Blogger Breakfast as part of Tampa Bay Fashion Week at International Plaza and met some lovely designers. I snapped a few photos inside!
