I asked you all on instagram to send over any questions that you have for me and I picked a few to answer here today!
Q: Where is your favorite place that you’ve travelled?
A: This is tough, but probably Tuscany in Italy! I’m dying to go back to Europe with Z this summer. As for U.S. destinations, Charleston has my heart.
Q: What are your favorite anorak jackets for spring?
A: Anoraks are my favorite! Mine is from Nordstrom from years ago by the brand Rubbish and I love it! This one is very similar and has draw strings which help it not look boxy. This one is a little shorter than the first one if that’s what you’re looking for. Target has one that’s mostly sold out online, but they might have it in store. I saw this in person and it was so pretty!
Q: When looking for a new outfit what is your go-to store?
A: Nordstrom! I have better luck online than I do when I walk into the store for some reason, but I can almost always find what I’m looking for. I used to shop a lot at LOFT right after I graduated college and still love their clothes. J. Crew, Tuckernuck, and GB at Dillard’s are also my faves.
Q: Advice for new people moving to Tampa? Best places to live?
A: Hang in there! Moving to any new city is tough at first. I’ve written a few posts about Tampa that I will link below. When I first graduated I lived in South Tampa and it was so fun being close to everything that was going on. I’ve lived in Hyde Park and Soho. The latter being a little too loud for me, but I loved Hyde Park! These might be some helpful posts to read through:
Q: Number one wardrobe staple?
A: This one is so tough because most days I’m in leggings from working out or jeans and a sweater. But I think it’s important to have a well fitting versatile blazer that you could wear to work or out for a night. Also having a pair of really nice dark wash denim jeans that can make any outfit look polished and a few fancy tops that can dress up any outfit. Make sure you have a pair of white sneakers too! Q: What is your favorite thing about your photography business?
A: For those of you who don’t know I also have a photography business that I run along with this blog. I started it two and half years ago and I’ve loved every second of it. I love meeting new people through my photography business and I’ve met many of my closest friends here in Tampa through it! I love to create art with people, capture memories for growing families, and challenge the artist in me to keep honing my craft.
