The 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Explained (Dates, Catalog, Access + more)

So let me preface this by saying I never thought I’d be one of those bloggers bombarding you with posts about the sale formerly known as the #NSale, but now that I get how awesome this sale actually is I feel obligated to explain it to y’all. I think part of the problem for me was that I didn’t understand the sale itself nor did I know that some of my favorite brands like Tory Burch, DryBar, Kendra Scott, and J. Crew would be marked down during it. Sold! Lol… Anyways, another huge perk is that you get to preview fall trends AND they’re marked down. I love seeing what will be popular next season and I don’t hate that it will be on sale. So let me break this sale down for you. Keep reading if you still love me! 🙂

Important Dates:

EARLY ACCESS starts July 13th

If you want to be a part of early access, you have to be a Nordstrom credit holder. Don’t worry if you don’t want another card or didn’t sign up for one by the deadline (July 9th) you can still shop the sale! Sign up for Nordstrom’s rewards program & you will get a $10 Nordstrom note to spend at the sale! Early access is your best bet to score the hot items before they sell out, but don’t fret there will be plenty left once they open this sale to the public.

PUBLIC ACCESS starts July 21st

This is when everyone (regardless of card holders or not) can shop the sale online and in stores! I contemplated going in-store to shop it myself, but I decided to shop it from the comfort of my bed. Plus Nordstrom does two-way FREE shipping!

LAST DAY OF SALE is August 6th

The most popular items of this sale are always fall pieces (for fall 2017 that means NEW stuff is marked down), THESE designer riding boots, Tory Burch bags (like THIS ONE), and beauty products (like everyone’s favorite drybar products)! I think I even saw that some Kendra Scott pieces will be included in this sale! These items will go the fastest so it’s best to make a game plan ahead of time, shop the sale early access, and buy multiple sizes/styles if you’re unsure because Nordstrom does have a great return policy!

I’m super excited to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year and feel the most prepared I ever have before because I finally get it! I’m thinking a Tory bag and possibly a J. Crew blazer (like THIS ONE) I spotted in the catalog, but I’m also going to snag a few new pieces for fall!
