I was really torn about whether or not to post photos of what the house looks like now because it will likely change in the near future. So far we’ve been working with the furniture we already had and adding pieces to it like this rug to bring the living room together. Since we had all of our friends over this past weekend for a house warming party I decided to share it with all of you too in today’s post.
Currently we have two sure chairs under these windows, but we’re going to swap those out for wingback chairs and garden stools here soon. I’m thinking something like this for the chairs and this garden stool. Since our house is a historic home we’re trying to incorporate as many antique pieces as we can. We’d ideally like to find an antique coffee table to replace our current one from West Elm.

My little photo bombers.
I absolutely love the dining room in this house and I plan on changing out that light fixture to something more like this ASAP!
I think we have a really great foundation with the pieces we have now and I’m so excited to swap out some of our furniture for newer pieces that fit our new space a little better. This post will be a good starting point to look back on in the future once we get these rooms fully furnished. I’m so thankful to have you along for this ride to share these memories with. Thanks for reading! Xo, Sara
