I am so excited that I got a jumpstart on fall decorating in today’s post! I teamed up with VELCRO® Brand to share how I use their HANGABLES® Removable Wall Fastening hooks to add temporary holiday decor to my home without damaging any of our finishes.

Z and I own a 1920’s historic bungalow with lots of original wood so whenever it comes to hanging things we take extra caution and usually avoid fastening anything to the mantle or front door because we don’t want to put any holes in it! When VELCRO® Brand reached out about their new HANGABLE® Removable Wall Fastening Solutions I was so excited to try them out. No damage or holes plus they have temporary adhesive!

My game plan for the décor was to add a green wreath to the front door with a fall ribbon. I didn’t want anything over the top Halloween so I focused on just fall decor. I wanted to add décor to the mantle too so I went for pumpkins and a garland (I love a good garland for any holiday). I bought some fall-scented candles because those are necessary. I also got a new doormat with some fall colors too!

I added the smaller, micro, fastener hooks to the mantle with the temporary adhesive to string up my fall garland (that Henry ate a piece off of last night because why not). I used the larger fastener hook to hang a wreath on our front door! Not pictured: the fall candles all over our house and the “pumpkin everything” sign in the kitchen because why not! I want to get a cinnamon bundle for the kitchen to get those fall aromas in the air to really put us in the mood for FALL!

I love decorating for the holidays and love that we have our own home to decorate this year!
