Good morning! Today’s post is for all my readers who are heading off to college in August! I had a lot of fun putting this post together and it was really hard to narrow it down because I had three different visions going. So let me know if you’d like to see more decor mood boards like this because I loved making this one!
I put together a mix of fun patterns and some really fun colors! I really like the striped ottoman because it is multi-purpose. It can be a seat and it has storage all while adding a pop to the room! I also found a striped throw blanket that matches perfect if you’re digging the stripes or maybe a chunky knit throw is more your speed!
I’m obsessed with throw pillows and I did indeed have them on my bed every year of college (still do now too)! I think the pink velvet, palm print, and dalmatian print all go perfectly together and will make your room stand out. Pair these with a simple white duvet cover and shams (HERE or HERE) which should make washing them easier and hopefully make them last you a few years. Polish it all off with some accessories like a gold monogram to hang above you bed like THIS ONE and a candle! I’ve linked everything pictured and mentioned in the bar below.
