This is for all you twenty-somethings out there who, like myself, have so much that you want to accomplish, but don’t know where to begin! For me personally, I would love to begin working towards another degree as soon as I graduate in May, BUT then I think….where will I live? do I want an MBA or a JD? well if I get an MBA what will it be in? why not both? maybe I should get some real world experience in the workforce first? but when will I go abroad? should I do that now? wait how will I afford that and start saving for a house? oh I almost forgot that I want to start a foundation for the empowerment of young girls! I should probably start my own business soon too, right? but how fun would it be to work in fashion or interior design? but wait… I want another degree!I will stop myself there because I am sure that these thoughts have been all too real for you at some point in your life. I have my whole life ahead of my and the world at my fingertips, yet I cannot move because I lack a concrete plan. I recently stumbled upon a website called Clarity on Fire that offers career coaching and a FREE online quiz that will tell you your “Passion Profile”. The quiz is supposed to help determine what you are passionate about and help you to start making power moves! I learned that I am a Fire Starter which means that I am a visionary with the desire to create and transform things. My profile was completely accurate and even elaborated upon attributes that I possess which I had never given much thought before. Additionally, they have a very inspirational instagram and blog with useful articles which I have linked below! I highly recommend taking the brief quiz and reviewing your profile analysis to give you an idea of where your path begins (no to mention their website is sparkly)!
Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars (ok, I would probably stop for that), you need to hear about Levo League too! I utilize their resources for the many questions that I have regarding the professional world, for example, I will look up resume tips, common interview questions, etc. on their website and it will bring me to relevant articles that have been published on their website. I am always impressed by what I find on here and have utilized much of the advice I have received from Levo League’s resources.I “liked” Levo League on facebook so the articles pop up on my news feed which is a great way for me to keep up to date with their articles because more often than not the articles catch my attention so I will sit there and read it right then (bonus: they are masters of brevity)! They also have a great mentor program and do Q&A sessions with powerful CEOs.I am sure you are wondering what exactly is Levo League? Well they put it best:
