Does anyone else feel like you have to change your beauty regimen with the seasons? I know for me personally I cant use the same foundation for summer and winter because my skin changes. Obviously I sweat more in the summer so I am more oily and in the winter I get so dry! So I have to change my foundations up. I also found that my go-to summer foundation I used when I lived in MA does not work for me in the summer in FL. Weird! Ok anyways, the same goes for hair products! My hair changes a little with the humidity levels for sure.
I’ve rounded up my favorite beauty products that I’ve been using this summer in today’s post! You can click on the products in the collage above, the corresponding numbers, or down below.
I just recently switched to this face wash because everyone’s been raving about it, but ultimately this post made me decide to switch. So far I dig it! Totally worth the hype people.
Next up, the compact finishing powder. Since our trip to Charleston I’ve realized the importance of using a finishing powered like this one in addition to my translucent setting powder. Try it out. You’ll thank me!
I tried out this glam glow mask last night for the first time and I want to warn you that they aren’t kidding when they say “tingle-tactic” on the packing. Super tingly! This is a clay mask with chunks of things to exfoliate your skin with when you wash it off. I noticed a serious difference in how soft my skin was after using this. It didn’t cause any redness either on my sensitive skin so I will be using it again!
I wasn’t loving any of the mascaras I had bought in literally the past year so a couple months ago I asked you all on Instagram what your favorite is. This one won by a landslide! I bought it and I will probably never wear anything else ever again. It’s perfect!
I started using this foundation probably five months ago and I really dig it for hotter months. It is very build able so if you want to wear it as shear coverage you can or build it up to full coverage that is also possible. I also like the applicator stick to dab it on my face with. It alleviates that awkward middle step where I used to put the foundation on my hand to then dab it with a brush or beauty blender. I save so many makeup wipes not having to put it on my hand anymore!
Last but not least…..this hair oil is basically the Moroccan Oil of 2017. It is smells like a garden, is so much lighter than moroccan oil and it doesn’t make my hair greasy. It makes it shiny (without the grease)! People have commented on how my hair looks different since I started using this product and I can even see the difference in photos. Try it!!
I added in this exfoliating face wash to the shop rotator below because it’s been my go to for two years now. I buy the smaller bottle because it’s pretty expensive for the full size and I only use it once a week so it lasts a long time. I put it on in the shower and leave it on for a few minutes then rinse. It totally makes a difference on my skin! I would also put this more in the category of a facial treatment than I would an exfoliator (even though it does have the little sand beads to exfoliate with) I just feed like it does more than a product like St. Ives scrub for example. It’s also much more gentle than that!
