I know we’re all missing our normal beauty routines right about now. I’ve been trying to stay on track despite all of the salons being closed. So in today’s post I’ve rounded up all of the beauty products I am using at home so that we can all come out of this looking fabulous! Almost all of these products are affordable and ship quickly.
BLOWOUT TOOL: After seeing the hype and reading the reviews I had to see what this was all about. I bought one in January and I am hooked! It is great for traveling because instead of having to pack a round brush and blow dryer I only need to pack one tool. This will definitely give you the salon blow dry look at home.
NIGHT CREAM: If you are over the age of 25 it might be time to start taking your skincare routine more seriously. This is a great hydrating night cream that I love!
ICE ROLLER: I keep mine in the freezer and use it for de-puffing my face and for lymphatic drainage. I put some jojoba oil on my face first and then work it in with the ice roller. It’s great for combatting puffy morning face!
FACIAL TONING TOOL: This is the ice roller’s sexy older sister. This tool is amazing for tightening and sculpting your face. It works wonders!
PURPLE HAIR MASK: My hair gets brassy after about a week after I get a toner/gloss at the salon. Partly because our water has a lot of minerals and partly because my dad is a red head so my hair pulls a lot of red! Needless to say my blonde pieces are real brassy right about now. I leave this on wet hair for 10-15 minutes and it takes all of the orange tones out of my hair and leaves it much ashier! It’s incredible seriously, I swear by this one.
BLACKHEAD EXTRACTION TOOL: This little tool is super powerful. It comes with multiple heads and a microdermabrasion head too! It’s great for pulling the gunk out of your pores and is super satisfying if you’re someone who loves to clean your face.
DIP MANICURE KIT: I’m not a nail polish girl, but I am a dip mani girl. The salons are all closed so I had to take matters into my own hands. I bought this set online and did my own nails. These tools are also helpful to have! If I can do it then so can you! They offer a ton of different colors in their kit – I got cotton candy!
NAIL FILES: These are a necessary tool for at home manis and nail care. I keep them on hand at all times to keep my nails shaped. The buffers really help with the dip manicure process if you buy the kit above!
FACIAL OIL: I swear by this oil. I use it on my cuticles, my face, and I put it on my tanning mitt before I apply tanner. It is super versatile, hydrating, and you can even use it to remove your makeup!
EYE PATCHES: I think this is the best quantity for the price that I’ve seen. The tub has 30 sets of eye patches and it’s only $25! I personally use these and I store them in the fridge because I think they work better when they’re cold!
SELF TANNER: I look for three things when testing new tanners: application, stickiness, scent, and color. This passes the test on all fronts for me. If you apply the foam with a mit it is almost impossible to get streaks. I’ve never had streaks with this one. I use the ultra dark because I like to be super tan. It dries pretty quick and isn’t very sticky at all after it dries. I sleep in long sleeve pajamas after applying it and I am comfortable.
BREAKOUT MASK: This is great for your whole face or spot treatments. I use this on myself and my hubby when we have breakouts or redness. It calms the skin down and breakouts disappear quickly!
EXFOLIATING PADS: You should be exfoliating your face at least 4 times a week. I like to double cleanse with these. So I remove my makeup with cleanser and a makeup eraser and then go in with these and cleanser to make sure everything is off my face before I add moisturizer.
