Makeup Eraser
Girl, if you’re still using makeup wipes every night then let me be the first to welcome you to 2019 where makeup erasers exist. Say goodbye to your disposable wipes. The makeup eraser is like a reusable soft cloth that can be used with just warm water to remove all your makeup. I usually run it under warm water and hold it on each eye for 10 seconds to soften my mascara and then it wipes right off. I add face wash to the towel and double cleanse my face to get everything off. I wash it once a week with my towels in the washing machine and it looks good as new!
Wet Brush
The wet brush looks like your regular paddle brush but the bristles are so much gentler on your scalp and hair. It doesn’t rip through your hair and saves you from a lot of breakage. It glides right through my hair even when it’s wet!
Hot Rollers
My best friend when I’m in a rush (every day of my life) and I don’t have time for both hair and makeup. I throw my rollers into my hair and do my makeup while they set. By the time my makeup is done and I’m dressed the rollers have cooled which is when I take them out. Hit those waves with some hairspray and volume spray and run out the door! It leaves me with hair that looks like I just got a blow out.
Hair Balm
I have thick coarse hair and it needs all the moisture it can get. When I get out of the shower I usually throw some hair balm in before I blow dry it out. It really helps with the frizz and smooths it all out. Sometimes after I am done blow drying I add a little bit more in to my part to tame any crazy fly aways. This really helps in the summer with humidity hair too!
Face Oil
I don’t know how I lived before face oil. I despise the feeling of having a dry face. I slather it on my face after I shower and it makes my makeup glow! Usually only a couple drops will suffice, you don’t want to over do it. I also put this on after moisturizing at night.
Lip Ointment
I am a Kylie lip kit addict even though they crack the heck out of my lips. I’ve tried brushing my lips with my toothbrush, scrubs, chapstick… still cracked. I started using this ointment, about two months ago, on my lips every night before bed and now they are so smooth. It’s much thicker than chapstick and feels much better (less waxy).
Dry Shampoo
I use so much dry shampoo that I go through a bottle every couple weeks. I have narrowed my favorites down to these three: batiste // lush // caviar. The batiste one is the most cost effective and it is heavy duty, but one can doesn’t go very far. The lush bottle lasts me a year. I’m not joking! But the application is tricky since it’s not a spray, but it will last forever and it works! The caviar formula is great, very light weight, but again doesn’t spray – it’s a pump bottle. You can’t go wrong with any of the them. I usually have all three on hand. Pro tip: if you’re an avid dry shampoo user like myself, you should be shampooing 2-3 times in the shower to make sure you’re getting it all out.
