This past weekend Zachary and I took a helicopter tour of downtown Tampa and Davis Island. We flew out of Peter O’Knight airport, located on Davis Island, for a morning tour of the city. It was a perfect day with clear blue skies so we could see everything!
We hopped into a little yellow helicopter and headed out for our tour. First we flew over the waterfront properties on Davis Island and we could even see Bayshore Boulevard to our left. The tour took us through downtown which was such a neat perspective to see the buildings from above.
My favorite part was flying over Seaplane Basin Park which is where the harbor and dog beach are located.
When we were flying over certain parts of the water we could see manatees and stingrays swimming below!
We had an amazing time on this little adventure and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a little excitement. Next time my family comes to visit I am definitely going to bring them. Have you been on a helicopter tour before, if so where did you go? I’d love to hear about your experience!

I definitely need to do this in Tampa! I’ve only done a helicopter tour once before in Panama City and it was amazing as well! Loved the pics girl 🙂
