I am so excited that the temperatures are starting to dip here in Tampa Bay even if it was short lived. I got these new Lands’ End riding boots that I have been itching to take out for a spin! After having to toss my old pair of riding boots last fall, I am ecstatic that I went with this pair from Lands’ End as my replacement. It was an answer to my prayers when I found out that I could get them in a wide-calf cut also, because there’s nothing worse that constricting boots. I also love this tunic top! I tucked it into jeans for this outfit post, but I am looking forward to wearing it with trousers and heels, also tucked into a pencil skirt, and I will probably be guilty of wearing it with leggings and boots later in the winter.

You may have noticed a new face making an appearance on my instagram and now here on SMDC… Welcome Henry! He is four months old now and he is a french bulldog! I can’t take him anywhere without being stopped by passersby wanting to touch his mushy face, but don’t let the cute face fool you… having a puppy is not easy feat. He is still in the process of potty training and it has been very trying of my patience. The good news is that Jax has been such a good brother to him and loves to chase him around the apartment!
